Dual sensing

Reads the asset itself, and the air around it.

A heat detector responds to the air around it, so heat has to reach the device before anything registers. IHTC reads the surfaces where problems actually start. Every sensing section measures two things at once: the ambient environment, and the surface temperature of the asset itself — the battery rack, the bearing line, the busway. Continuously, every few seconds, along up to 6,560 ft (2,000 m).

Capabilities

A condition-monitoring instrument, not another alarm bell.

  • Continuous temperatures. Live readings from up to 400 sensing locations stream into your SCADA, BMS, or DCIM over Modbus — or into the IHTC Monitor software.
  • Precise location. Hot spots and alerts are identified to the section, so the crew goes straight there instead of searching a building.
  • No blind spot, no extra wiring. Coverage follows the integrated sensing cable. It threads into enclosed racks, tray stacks, and metal-dense spaces and senses continuously along the route.
  • A work order, not an incident report. Temperature monitoring flags abnormal heating while the fix is still scheduled maintenance.
  • Documentation underwriters recognize. Monitoring logs, alert histories, and thermal reports for loss-prevention programs and underwriting submissions.
  • Restorable. IHTC's sensing cable is not destroyed by overheating; it self-restores after heat exposure.
